Many countries in Africa suffer from hyperinflation or extremely low currency values, leaving them financially excluded and unable to participate in the global economy. UnA will bridge that gap and provide the people of Africa a way to hedge against their local currency risk, while also giving them a mobile banking solution since banking infrastructure in most African countries are lacking. Other leading digital currencies have too many scalability issues such as the high transaction costs and long transaction confirmation times, so no waiting 10 minutes or more to pay for your taxi ride!
